The complete Sherlock Holmes 福爾摩斯全集

最近一時不知道要看什麼書,把之前買的福爾摩斯全集拿起來看,目前只看到第二個故事,小時候看的是注音版,而且年代久遠,幾乎完全不記得故事內容了,而且我想我小時候也沒有把全集看完,現在重新開始看,可以理解這套推理小說為什麼會成為經典,其實每一則故事並不太長,不過卻能緊扣人心,Sherlock Holmes總是以敏銳的觀察力來破案,這樣的故事永遠都會讓人津津樂道,難怪現在大部分的推理劇都有類似的劇情。BBC在去年就又將Sherlock Holmes和Watson放到21世紀的現代倫敦,也滿有趣的,只是看到Sherlock Holmes很愛傳簡訊有點怪怪的,哈哈。

我還是最喜歡Jeremy Brett演的Sherlock Holmes,據Wiki上的資料,他為了演出最好的Sherlock Holmes,最後幾乎是走火入魔,即使下班他也無法脫離Holmes這個角色,之後他深受精神疾病的折磨,不過他的精準的詮釋讓我看小說時,腦中浮現的是他的Holmes。

第一個故事是A study in scarlet,其中有很多經典的話:

1. There is nothing new under the sun. It has all been done before.

2. There's the scarlet thread of murder running through the colourless skein of life, and our duty is to unravel it, and isolate it, and expose every inch of it.

3. It is a capital mistake to therorize before you have all the evidence. It biases the judgment.
